Who We Are
Our Mission
We provide youth and adults with career opportunities in the event production and broadcast industry through classes, workshops, and hands-on mentoring—building the skills and certifications that lead to living-wage careers in entertainment technology.
What We Do
-
Career-focused training: Event Production, Live Sound, Lighting, Stage & Rigging Basics, Camera Ops, Studio/Broadcast Workflow.
-
Hands-on labs: learn on real gear, real sets, and real show scenarios.
-
Mentorship & placements: industry mentors, job-readiness coaching, internship and on-site shadowing with partners.
-
Certification support: safety, basic signal flow, equipment handling; portfolio + showreel building.
Who We Serve
-
Youth (high school & recent grads) exploring technical careers.
-
Career-changers & veterans seeking marketable trade skills.
-
Working technicians upskilling to increase earnings and responsibilities.
Why It Matters
Back-of-house roles keep every show and broadcast running. They’re practical, creative, in demand—and often overlooked. We open the door, shorten the learning curve, and connect talent to opportunity.
Our Approach
-
Do → Learn: practice-first, with short theory blocks.
-
Small cohorts: more time on the console, camera, or board.
-
Real-world standards: safety, comms, checklists, call sheets, strike.
-
Portfolio outcomes: every learner leaves with artifacts that prove skill.
Values
-
Safety first | Professionalism | Equity & Access | Accountability | Collaboration
